Kenya

Kenya is the home of the safari, attracting explorers, adventurers and travelers for centuries.

Known not only for its 'Out of Africa' scenic beauty, diverse cultures and abundant wildlife, Kenya is a world unto itself. Only few countries can offer such an astonishing variety of climate and habitat with such a profusion of fauna and flora. Within the borders of a single country, you will find savannahs rich with big game, timeless cultures unchanged by the modern world, superb footprint-free beaches and coral reef, rain forests and mighty snow-capped mountains, deserts and cool highland retreats . It offers also plenty alternative trips such as golf breaks, horse riding or relaxation stopovers.

Despite the endless possibilities, the wildlife stays the main attraction with some wonderful parks ranking amongst the finest in the world, including the Masai Mara, Amboseli and Lake Nakuru and of course the annual migration of millions of zebra, antelope and wildebeest between the Serengeti and Masai Mara that still remains one of the most incredible spectacles in the world. Kenya is everything you believe Africa to be, with vast plains covered in thousands of wildebeest and gazelle, cheetah sitting on termite mounds, lion flat on their back in the sun and giraffe in the shade of acacias.

Kenya is also similarly extremely culturally rich with many fascinating tribes adorned in their local finery.
When the safari is over, you can enjoy the pristine beaches and marine national parks. The islands of Lamu, with its Swahili influence, and Funzi are a real delight are the ideal place to relax and end a safari.
