Zimbabwe is a landlocked country located in southern Africa. It offers an impressive wildlife, spectacular landscapes and ancient mystery. From the grassy plains of the Hwange National Park, the untamed wilderness of the Zambezi Valley to the breathtaking Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe holds great appeal for nature lovers.
Although the country induces images of social and political disaster, the tourist destinations, including Victoria Falls are completely safe to visit. Most of the time it is also less crowded compared to other major destinations and allows you to enjoy the wilderness in peace.
Almost 13 % of Zimbabwe's land mass is preserved for wildlife. This includes national parks as well as superb private concessions hosting a large concentration of animals. Then there is the famous Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, making it a true adventure destination, offering a variety of high adrenaline activities.
