Chile is with 4300 km the longest country in the world, and because it is only between 200 and 250 km wide, it is also very narrow. Chile is one of the smallest countries in South America, but is still double the size of Germany. The snowcapped Mountains of the Andes cordillera along the Southpacific Ocean, with hights up to 7000m, determine the landscape.
To discover the beauty of this country, we often use a plane, but also drive long distances on the Panamericana, which starts in Alaska, and reaches down to the south of the continent. Visit the evergreen rainforests in the south, the chilenian Patagonia with it's many Fiords, Glaciers, Volcanoes, Forests and National Parks as well as the Atacama Dessert in the north.
